1. Maleficent (2014)
the tale of Charles Perrault, released in 1697, inspired the creation of one of Disney’s classic animations: “The Sleeping Beauty”. But, have you ever wondered what led Maleficent to become the animation villain? Mistress of Evil’s past is explained in the live-action that bears her name. The synopsis explains:
“Driven by vengeance and a fierce desire to protect her kingdom, the Moors, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) cruelly places an irrevocable curse on the newborn daughter of the king of humans, Aurora. 2. Mowgli the Wolf Boy (2016)

The story of Mowgli is based on ‘The Jungle Book’ (The Jungle Book, in free translation), a book written by the English author Rudyard Kipling. The plot first won an animation by Disney in 1967 and almost 50 years later it received its live-action by the hands of Jon Favreau.
Synopsis: “Mowgli: The Wolf Boy” arrives in an all-new epic adventure about Mowgli, a boy raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the forest when fearsome tiger Shere Khan, who bears the scars inflicted by hunters, vows to eliminate what he considers a threat. Forced to abandon the only home he’s known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther mentor Bagheera and cheerful bear Baloo. 3. Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Based on the book by lewis carroll“Alice in Wonderland” is directed by Tim Burton and presents, with a new approach, the well-known fairy tale.

4. The Girl in the Red Riding Hood (2011)

Launched in 2011 under the direction of Catherine Hardwicke, the film adapts the classic story of Little Red Riding Hood. The film is available on Prime Video with the following synopsis:
“Middle Ages. Valerie is a young woman who lives in a village terrorized by a werewolf. She is in love with Peter, but her parents want her to marry Henry (Max Irons), a rich man”.
5. Mirror, Mirror of Mine (2012)

Inspired by the fairy tale of the brothers Grimm “Mirror, Mirror” featured filmmaker Tarsem Singh’s commands to gain form. in live action lily collings gives life to the great protagonist.
Synopsis: An evil queen steals control of a kingdom and an exiled princess enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to regain her birthright.
Bonus: Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)

Like “Mirror, My Mirror”, the feature film “Branca de Neve e o Caçador” is also inspired by the story of the brothers grimmand detail: both hit theaters in the same year.
Synopsis: In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the kingdom with skin lighter than the evil queen (Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the terrible ruler could never imagine is that the young woman who threatens her kingdom has been training in the art of war with a hunter (Chris Hemsworth) who has been sent to kill her.
