SM Entertainment’s newest group RIIZE will release a simple prologue before debut
SM Entertainment released news about RIIZE, their newest bougroup. With their debut scheduled for September 4, the group will release the pre-release single “Memories” on August 21.
The track promises to combine synthesizer and guitar sounds, in addition to bringing nostalgia. In addition to “Memories”, which is the prologue single, the album will also feature the title track “Get A Guitar”. It was not revealed how many tracks the disc will have in total.
RIIZE will be the first group released by SM since 2020, when aespa debuted. The group has seven members: Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Won bin, Seung Han, so hee It is anton.
SM revealed that the word RIIZE is a union between the words “RISE” and “REALIZE”, which means that the “group will rise and fulfill their dreams together”. In a note, the agency said:
RIIZE consists of seven top-notch members who have skills and visuals. These members, each with their own characteristics and strengths, will embark on a new ‘real-time odyssey’ together as a team, through which they will write a new chapter in music history.”
It is worth remembering that the group has already been confirmed at SMTWON Jakarta, which will take place on September 23rd. In addition to RIIZE, the presence of TVXQ!, Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV and aespa at the festival were confirmed.
