The comedy television series ran on NBC from September 1986 to March 1990. It was shown in 80 countries around the world, including Ukraine.
The American television channel Maximum Effort, founded by actor Ryan Reynolds, will release new episodes of the cult comedy series Alf. The star confirmed the news on her Instagram page.
“Wow! Having your own Maximum Effort channel means doing interesting things like creating new Alpha content for reruns,” said the artist.
According to Deadline, the new episodes will be produced by streaming service Fubo, alien character creator Paul Fusco, and production company Shout! studios. In each series, the main character Alf (an abbreviation of the name from Alien Life Form – an alien life form) will appear in sponsored videos promoting a certain brand.
Also in the comment, Reynolds mentioned that one of the reasons for the revival of the cult series was his personal “irrational love for Alpha in childhood” and the willingness of partners to work on the project.
The premiere will take place this Saturday, July 29th.
It was previously reported that Netflix released a trailer dedicated to the final episodes of the third season of The Witcher.
