1. Coachella
The first moment on the list could not be any other! Nicknamed PINKCHELLA by the BLINKs (as the group’s fans are called), BLACKPINK’s first inclusion in the Coachella festival took place in 2019, where the girls became the first k-pop artist to integrate the line-up of the event and performed great hits like DDU-DU DDU-DU, Whistle and BOOMBAYAH, in addition to the solo debut of jenniethe single ‘SOLO’, released that same year.
Still, that would be just the beginning, as in April of this year the group became the first K-pop act to headline the music festival, wrapping up the April 15th and 22nd shows. The first day’s performance featured a drone show, chair choreography to “Pretty Savage” and solos by each of the members, including a performance of the solo debut of Jisoo: “FLOWER”.
2. In theaters
As part of the girl group’s five-year celebrations, BLACKPINK was given a documentary film, which was shown in theaters.
