A film about the life of Ukrainian women during the war was nominated for an Emmy

The News and Documentary Emmy Awards are presented separately from the main ceremony by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

The documentary film Ukraine: Mother’s War (Ukraine: A Mother’s War) was nominated for the annual Emmy Award in the field of news and documentary. It was reported on the TV award website.

It was noted that the film was presented with the Outstanding Recorded News Special nomination.

The plot of the one-hour picture is devoted to five Ukrainian women, each of whom experiences a full-fledged war in her own way. Traveling across the country, NBC News correspondent Molly Gunter documents war crimes committed by Russian troops and takes viewers through the brutal war through the eyes of brave women.

The 44th News & Documentary Emmy Awards will be announced on September 27, 2023.

It was previously reported that the American Television Academy announced the nominees for the 75th Emmy Awards in 2023.
