BTS in the army
Also according to information published by the Sports Chosun portal (via CNN), South Korean authorities say that the prediction is that all BTS members should be enlisted in the army by the end of 2023.
Currently, the boygroup already has two members fulfilling mandatory military service: Jinwho performed on December 13 last year, and j-hope, who joined the military in April of this year. Also in 2022, HYBE announced that all members will fulfill their military obligations, and must enlist according to their personal plans.
Thus, due to the enlistment period, the group is expected to reunite with its full lineup only in 2025. However, to celebrate their 10 years of debut, BTS released the track “Take Two” this month, as a way to convey “their gratitude to ARMYs for all the love you give them, and their desire to always be together with you,” as stated by BigHit Music in a statement.
