SM Entertainment has continuously filed complaints by collecting data on malicious posts and comments and insulting defamatory posts being spread indiscriminately on various online communities, social media and portal sites towards our agency’s artist. Among them, we would like to share the progress of complaints filed regarding artist Taeyeon.
Currently, regarding the complaints presented, the police have identified six people, four of whom are being investigated and two are being referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office. In addition to these, several other allegations are under investigation and we are waiting for their progress.
We will continue to update the results of the final disposition of the case referred to the prosecution, as well as additional details of the investigation.
In the future too, in addition to these complaints on Taeyeon’s behalf, we will actively monitor and take legal action for the protection of our agency’s artists, and will continue to take strong legal action against these various illegal acts.
Thanks.
