The sequel to the classic ‘Chicken Run’ premieres on December 15th on Netflix
Last Wednesday, the 14th, Netflix confirmed the long-awaited release date for the sequel to “Chicken Run”: December 15th, exclusively on the streaming platform. Today, the service released the first preview for the new production. Check out!

The ‘Chicken Run’ franchise began in the 2000s with the release of the first film that shows Rocky and Ginger leading a group of chickens on an English farm in the 50s in an attempt to obtain their dreamed freedom by learning to fly.
Titled “Chicken Run: Menace of the Nuggets,” the film will follow Rocky and Ginger 12 years after the events seen in the first film. The couple, who now live in a sanctuary for birds away from humans, have their peace of mind put to the test when a new deadly threat emerges that puts them at risk: the new factory, Happy Land Farms.
Also, Rocky and Ginger are now parents, and their daughter, Molly, will show her adventurous side by leaving the island without warning, bringing even more chaos.
Directed by Sam Fell and with a script by Karey Kirkpatrick It is John O’Farrellthe same duo from the original film, ‘Chicken Run: The Nuggets Menace’, brings Zachary Levifrom ‘Shazam!’ as Rocky; ThandiweNewton from ‘Westworld’ as Ginger; It is Bella Ramseyfrom ‘Last of Us’, as Molly, in the official voice cast.
