In recent days, South Korean media have reported that jenniea member of BLACKPINK, would be in negotiation to participate in the new Marvel project entitled “Team Agents of Atlas”, a group of Asian superheroes.
As reflected by Soompi, according to the reports, jennie was supposed to play the character Luna Snow, also known as Seol Hee, a k-pop idol who has ice powers, and first appeared through the game “Marvel Super War”, released in 2020. On the occasion, the superheroine was voiced by Lunamember of the girl group f(x).
This Monday, the 12th, YG Entertainment, the company responsible for BLACKPINK, commented on the rumors related to the subject, where it stated that “It is not true that jennie received an offer to star in a Marvel project.”
