On July 30th we celebrate the International Day of Friendship. The date was established in 2011 by the UN, with the aim of promoting peace among peoples, and celebrating cultural diversity.
When we talk about friendship, it’s impossible not to remember some classic friends present in the animations of disney and Pixar, who always show that friendship can be true and faithful, regardless of differences.
So remember some of Disney and Pixar’s most outstanding friends!
1. Luca, Alberto and Giulia (Luca)
Luca presents the friendship of Luca and Alberto, two sea monsters, with the human Giulia. The problem is that the boys have to hide this secret from Giulia. Will the friendship of the three be strong enough to overcome this difference?
2. Joy and Sadness (Fun)

In Fun, Joy and Sadness, despite having completely opposite characteristics, they show that together they manage to work very well in favor of young Riley’s well-being.
3. Remy and Linguini (Ratatouille)

As unlikely as it seems, friendship between a mouse and a human is possible in Ratatouille. Remy and Linguini manage to overcome differences and show that trust and teamwork are essential for anyone who wants to make their dreams come true and achieve their goals.
4. Francis, Slim, Rosie and Sauerkraut (A Bug’s Life)

In A Bug’s Life, we see the friendship and work together not only of the ants, but also of a ladybug, a caterpillar, a spider and a praying mantis. Despite being different, together they manage to save an anthill using the concepts of friendship, loyalty and, above all, trust.
5. Miguel and Dante (Viva: A Vida É Uma Festa)

Miguel has Dante, his dog, as a faithful companion. The dog accompanies him on his mission to reach the afterlife to meet his idol: Ernesto De La Cruz. Miguel and Dante’s friendship shows that dogs can be humans’ best friends – both in reality and in animations.
