BigHit Responds to BTS Jungkook’s Jungkook Solo Debut Rumors

According to South Korean media, Jungkook is expected to make his solo debut next month.

Last weekend, South Korean news agency Sports Chosun reported that jungkookmember of BTSis currently preparing to make his long-awaited solo debut on July 14th with an unreleased album, which would feature an entirely English-language song.

After the release of the news, the subject did not take long to become one of the most commented on the internet. In response, BigHit Music, the company responsible for BTS, issued a statement responding to the rumours, where it said, “We will make an announcement once Jungkook’s solo album release schedule is confirmed.”

It is worth remembering that previously jungkook already released some songs as a soloist — including “Dreamers”, the official track of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. However, if confirmed, this will be the maknae’s first album as a solo artist.
