Some people may have come home carrying an Oscar on Sunday night, but John Travolta won the best award.
The Pulp Fiction actor and his son Ben adopted McNaughty, the dog Jamie Lee Curtis brought to the stage in honor of the late Betty White in the segment of the award-winning show “In Memoriam”.
The “Halloween” star said she “reconnected” with Travolta, with whom she co-starred in the 1984 Oscar movie “Perfect.” After he left, someone sent him a picture of Travolta holding a dog.
“I thought it was so fun to see him with her and now I hear that he and his son, Ben, have adopted a nice little Mac & Cheese and are taking him home today,” he wrote.
“On a night of winners and losers, we think Mac N Cheese is the biggest winner!” The group wrote.
Curtis brought the dog to the stage and encouraged people to adopt rescue animals to honor White and his legacy of helping animals.
