The film shows Ukrainian refugees – children, women, elderly and men – who, after the Russian invasion, were forced to leave their homes and go to an unknown future in order to find a safe haven. They board the evacuation bus and talk about their experiences.
The director himself is behind the wheel, since the start of the whole invasion of Russia, he has started his evacuation program to save people from hot spots.
It is known that the world premiere of the documentary will take place on May 21 at the international Cannes Film Festival. The film is the result of a joint production of Ukraine, Poland and France.
The tape was shown at the Cannes ACID program, where nine films are selected annually by the Association of Cinematographers ACID (Association of Independent Film and Its Distribution).
