Ruslana with the song Diki Tantsi took 13th place, and the Kalush Orchestra with the song Stefaniya took 24th place.

Ukrainian singer Jamala’s song called 1944, with which she won the song contest in 2016, is among the top three songs in the history of Eurovision according to the British edition of The Guardian.

“The lyrics of a 1944 song about Stalin’s ethnic cleansing of the Crimean Tatars caused controversy: Russian politicians complained that it had something to do with Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014. But it’s a really amazing track, whatever it’s about,” the post reads.

The first place in the list published by the publication is occupied by the song Waterloo by the Swedish band ABBA, which brought success to Sweden in 1974.

Second place went to the song Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son, performed by French singer France Gall, who won first place at Eurovision in 1965.

The third place in the list of the best winning songs in the history of Eurovision was taken by the song 1944 by the singer Jamala.

In this regard, the performer thanked the publication on his Instagram page for the kind words.

It was previously reported that Jamala, who was an invited guest at Eurovision 2023, told the truth about the preparations for the contest.
