Have you ever confided in your partner during a (very long) lunch break? Do you ever find yourself distracted by setbacks in your sentimental life, your ailing grandmother, or your financial problems in front-of-mind discussions about the weather or the news? For the majority, the answer would be yes. And by extension, it’s often the case that these secret moments of intimacy in the coffee shop really bond some employees together. Exchanges continue over drinks at the end of the day, and then sometimes over dinner, where the spouses and their respective entourages will join in, turning the camaraderie into true friendship.
According to a study conducted by the American agency Wildgoose in March 2023, about 57% of employees believe that it would be good, even necessary, to keep at least one company in the workplace. It’s about more pleasant days, boosting motivation and productivity. But if this observation sounds quite happy in theory…
