From the lives of the inhabitants on the ship to the robots themselves, discover facts and situations that go beyond logic in Wall-E
Bringing a critique of the relationship between humans and the environment, Wall-E hit theaters in 2008 featuring the charismatic little yellow robot that was created to compact the existing garbage on the planet, gaining a new purpose with the arrival of a new and modern robot: Eva, making Wall-E live an intense journey through the galaxy.
Even though it’s a dystopian story, there are things that still don’t make sense, as listed by Screenrant. With that in mind, we have gathered below five facts and situations that are far from logical in Wall-E. Check out!
1. Eva use a weapon
The Alien Vegetation Examiner, better known as Eve, has a mission to visit Earth to identify if the environment is safe and habitable for humans again. For this, she must collect evidence that there is life on the planet, but there is a fact that could harm the mission. That’s because Eva uses a gun and blows up anything and everything that comes her way, which could make her easily eliminate any form of life with a simple movement.
2. Live action and animation
Like other films from Mickey’s house, Wall-E mixes live-action and animation at times. Still, the combination of the two formats doesn’t make much sense here, since the humans that inhabit the Buy n Large ship are 2D, so how come they don’t find it strange to see their countrymen in flesh and blood in the videos that appear?
3. Plant survival in space
Another question without much logic is the survival of the plant in space. Wall-E and EVA try at all costs to protect the little seedling, but how could it stay alive without the incidence of sunlight? The film does not explain.

4. Return to Earth
At the end of the film, humans return to Earth, as they understand that the place can become their home again after the discovery of the plant. However, they ignore other important issues for life on the planet, such as garbage, which exists in enormous amounts without a solution to remove it, just as there is no plant or animal life.
5. Life expectancy on the ship
Portraits of the ship’s captains reveal that each of them was in command for around 135 years, meaning their life expectancy is at least 155 years. The number is high and if you take into account the sedentary way of life of the inhabitants, as well as the food that consists only of an unknown liquid, it does not make sense that they live for so long.
