The Prince and Princess of Wales, taking part in the celebrations following the coronation of King Charles III, made a surprise appearance in the gardens of Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
Sometimes they are where you least expect them. Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, unexpectedly appeared in A garden party which took place in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, this Tuesday, May 9. Against a background of military music, the couple mingled in the palace with around 8,000 carefully selected guests who were invited to enjoy cups of tea, sandwiches and generous slices of cake.

William, 40, wore a tailcoat and hat to the reception. The 41-year-old Princess of Wales reworked one of her dresses, an Elie Saab blue polka dot dress with sheer sleeves. She styled it with Kiki McDonough topaz earrings and a Philip Treacy hat in the same shades that were first worn at the UK’s most social racecourse, Royal Ascot, in 2019.
Kate and William weren’t the only royals in attendance. They were joined by Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Princess Anne, Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
“Kate’s Obsession”
Kate Middleton has already been spotted making her almost divine entrance into Westminster Abbey during Charles III’s coronation ceremony, which took place on Saturday, May 6. The next day, the mother of George, Charlotte and Louis again grabbed all eyes at the king’s big concert, which took place at Windsor Castle. Brighter than ever, she attended the show in a signature red Alexander McQueen suit from her favorite fashion houses.
