The memorial dedicated to ASTRO’s Moonbin will be extended and relocated. Check out the details!
This month, the K-pop world was rocked by the loss of moonbin, member of ASTRO. With the numerous tributes that the idol received after his passing, both from fans and other artists, Fantagio, the agency responsible for the group, created a memorial in front of his office so that admirers of moonbin leave your farewells.
The memorial would remain open until Sunday, the 30th, but Fantagio decided to extend the space for tributes to the moonbin until the 6th of June. The company also announced this Friday, the 28th, that it will have to relocate the memorial. The agency explained the reasons on its website. Check out!
After taking into account the views of the many AROHAs who found it difficult to visit the memorial space within the limited time period, we have decided to extend the visitation period until June 6th, the 49th day since the death of [Moonbin]so that the memorial space can be used a little more.
We plan to prepare a new memorial space in a place where [os lamentadores] can focus fully on grief.
As of April 28, the memorial space that was located at the front door of the Fantagio building, inside the parking lot and behind the building will gradually be moved to the roof of the company building. As a result, the memorial space we have set up on one side of the parking lot will only be available for use through April 30th, and we ask for your understanding in this regard.
We plan to keep all the precious letters and gifts you left in all the memorial spaces, and to keep them intact, we plan to periodically remove and store them during the time the [espaço memorial] is open.
As there are numerous tenants in our building in addition to our company, and it is a space we all use together, we ask that you refrain from visiting floors other than the memorial space during this time.”
Some K-pop idols have passed through the memorial since its opening, to pay their last respects to moonbin. Among them we have Choi Yoojung from WekiMeki, some members of SEVENTEEN and SinB from VIVIZ and GFRIEND. The other members of ASTRO also left their tributes to their friend who passed away at the age of 25.
Moon Suasister of moonbin and a Billie member left a beautiful message at the memorial for his brother. Check out!
