A musical version of ‘Mean Girls’ is in the works and Rachel McAdams, who starred in the 2004 film, has revealed that she would like to return to that universe.
One of the most successful films of the 2000s was “Mean Girls”. The film, which accompanies Candy, played by Lindsey Lohanadapting to the new school and participating in a revenge plan, will win a musical version for the screens.
The idea stems from the successful adaptation of the film to musical theatre. The show “Mean Girls” was a phenomenon on Broadway between 2018 and 2020, and had more than 800 performances. The production, which does not have a streaming debut forecast, has already had some details revealed. Fey told “Late Night With Seth Meyers” that some songs from the musical will have changes to be in the film.
