Leaving an intriguing message on his social media, Luis Miguel announced – finally! – it’s long awaited tour. Only on April 19, the day he turned 53, did he announce which countries were included in his tour 2023.
However, Peru is not included in Latin America you visit. But he will have 44 shows in Argentina, Mexico, Chile and also in the USA. From 3 to 6 August, the “Salt of Mexico” will visit Buenos Aires.
Later, Luis Miguel will travel to Chile from the 21st to the 23rd of the same month before heading to the United States. In September and October he will be in the north of the country, where he will play concerts in various states such as Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Chicago, Washington DC, New York, Florida and others.
In November, he will return to Mexico, and his last performance will be on December 17 in Queretaro.
Luis Miguel and the last time he visited Peru
The Salt of Mexico stepped onto the Peruvian scene again in March 2019, but was it worth the wait? Luis Miguel returned with his “Mexico Forever” tour after five years to give the concert that his fans have been waiting for and criticized on social networks. The artist last visited Lima in 2013, long before the Luis Miguel Series boom.
Complaints began with a delay on the stage at the Jockey Club of Peru – the show was supposed to start at 21:00 and started around 21:40 – but after seeing this, the fans forgot about the wait. His idol started the night with the songs “If you leave”, “You are only you” and “I love, love, love.”
As in their other performances on the continent, such as in Argentina and Paraguay, Luis Miguel’s team asked the press to leave after the first songs. Judging by the comments on Twitter, the “Sol de México” concert was a disappointment. Something has already been seen last year at his performances in Mexico, where he was accused of being late, forgetting words and appearing in an obvious state of intoxication.
Several reports appeared on the network, indicating that during the show, the artist sang incorrectly. Others complained because on several occasions he conceded to the audience the opportunity to sing the lyrics without finishing the songs himself. Some commented that they would have preferred Diego Boneta (leader of the TV series “Luis Miguel”) to offer the concert instead of “Sol de México”.
