In addition to the preview, the platform also announced how the nine episodes will be divided.
The fourth season of “Stranger Things” will officially premiere in a week, and in order to prepare fans of the stories that involve the terrors of the Upside Down, Netflix has released the first eight minutes of the first episode.
The preview shows Papa performing tests at Hawkins National Laboratory when he is surprised by screams, deaths, and an angry survivor: Eleven. Check out!
In addition to the disclosure of the first scenes, the streaming giant said how the division of the nine episodes of the new season will be carried out:
Episodes 1 – 7: Available May 27
Episodes 8 – 9: Available July 1st
please note that Matt Duffer, one of the creators of the series, revealed in an interview with The Wrap that the final chapters of each wave of episodes will be the length of feature films: “Seven and nine in particular are movies. And nine is a long movie.”
The new season has the following official synopsis: “Six months have passed since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. After the confrontation, our group of friends is separated for the first time, and having to deal with the complexities of high school makes it even more difficult. In this moment of fragility, a new supernatural threat emerges and brings a mystery that, if solved, could end the terrible Upside Down once and for all.”
“Stranger Things” was created by brothers duffer in 2016 and currently has 25 episodes available in three seasons. The fourth season will feature the returns of Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbor (Jim Hopper), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield).
