Jimmy Kimmel was less than impressed with Donald Trump’s lengthy interview with Tucker Carlson this week.
“It was a weird interview,” Kimmel said, pointing to a tangent Trump said about the “two N words,” one of which was “nuclear.”
“No one is talking about nuclear power, the problem we have, the biggest problem we have in the whole world, is not global warming. It’s nuclear warming,” Trump said.
“What is this old man talking about?” Kimmel said, then described his Internet search for more information on “nuclear warming,” which didn’t come up empty. “The reason nobody talks about nuclear warming is because it’s not a thing.”
All of which led Kimmel to an inescapable conclusion about the former president.
“He made one thing clear: that Donald Trump is a deeply stupid person,” Kimmel said. “I think it’s important to remember that. Doesn’t he have the best words, isn’t he a stable genius, that test of mental competence he always prides himself on passing? It’s something an average 7-year-old could handle.”
