One is a pale-faced brunette, dressed all in black, and develops in a bleak universe that shows her supposed dislike. The other is platinum blonde, has a permanent big smile, a Californian complexion and wears sexy neon suits. Whether they’re mesmerizing or annoying, Barbie and Wednesday are to be credited for their remarkable impact on the beauty industry as of late. He also notes “the desire to belong to the nostalgic community of the 1990s and 2000s, attached to these iconic references that remind them of a better time.”
These two archetypes aren’t just common on smartphones.
