Taylor Hawkins Concerned Over Foo Fighters Before Death Tour Schedule, Friends Say –

Rolling Stone ran an extensive article on Monday in which the magazine interviewed dozens of friends of the late Foo Fighters drummer. They claim the band’s ambitious tour schedule has hurt Hawkins for years, mentally and physically.

An unnamed source, describing Rolling Stone as a colleague and friend of Hawkins, said the drummer had “a year to build strength” to finally speak to Foo Fighters frontman and founder Dave Grohl. How he felt tired and on fire.

Chad Smith, the drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, recalls having a similar conversation after Hawkins crashed a plane in Chicago in December 2021.

“It was one of those tears that broke on the camel’s back,” Smith said. “After that, he had a very important relationship with Dave and the management. He said: “I can’t continue this program and so we need to investigate something.”

The Grolley and Hawkins families declined to comment for Rolling Stone. But a Foo Fighters spokesman denied the “testimony” made by Hawkins’ friends and denied that the drummer had a problem with Grohl or with the band’s leadership before he died.

Hawkins will be released in 2017 in San Francisco.

While friends said Hawkins talked about reducing the Grolls, Cameron said Hawkins had finally given up on the tour schedule and explained that the Foo Fighters were “Great car [with] Many people have a salary ”.
