Christina Ricci has been in show business for 35 years and has seen many changes along the way.
“We older women talk about it all the time,” the actor told “The View” Wednesday during a discussion about some of his younger “Yellow Jackets” co-stars. Ricci appeared on the talk show to promote the second season of the Showtime series, which premieres later this month.
“It’s amazing to see that they don’t necessarily have to go through the things that we had to go through,” she explained. “I’m able to say, ‘I don’t want to do this sex scene,’ ‘I’m not going to be naked.’

“They can set boundaries that we’ve never been allowed to,” she said, sharing an example of a time when she tried to build such a boundary for herself but was denied.
“Someone once threatened to sue me because I didn’t want to do this sex scene a certain way. So it’s really changed and it’s nice to see,” Ricci said.
“Now that it’s more about their choice than something you’re forced to do, then you can get into the art or know how important it is to the story,” he continued. “When you take control of someone like that, you just don’t want to.”
