“People ask me how I keep doing what I do. The truth is, I don’t even think about it. There will come a time when I can no longer. I don’t even want to consider it. I’m going to do my best while I can. On Maiden’s next tour, I’ll be playing weekends with British Lion (his solo band) and also playing football once a week. At my age it sounds ridiculous, but if I can still do it, I will do it.”
