Discover Some ‘Emperor Groove’ Moments That Don’t Make Much Sense
Released in the year 2000, “The Emperor’s New Groove” is the 50th animation released by Walt Disney Feature Animation. The plot accompanies Kuzco, a selfish emperor who ends up learning a great lesson in humility after being unintentionally transformed into a llama by the villainous Yzma, who tries to steal his throne.
Despite being one of the studio’s great classics, some fans ended up noticing some facts in the production that don’t make much sense. Check out 5 of them now!
1. An elderly man being thrown out of a window and surviving
At the beginning of the film, when kuzco is explaining about his luxurious life, the emperor ends up meeting a gentleman named Rudy, who claims to have lost all his assets. The conversation, however, ends up not extending as the guards decide to throw the old man out of a window – and he survives after getting stuck in a flag. But how is this possible?
2. Kuzco doesn’t realize he’s turning into a llama
After taking the drink with llama potion offered by Yzma, Kuzco begins to gradually transform into the animal, starting with the ears, then the neck, to his hands and the rest of his body. The problem is that while all this is happening, the emperor doesn’t notice anything.
3. No one realizes that Kuzco llama is not a female
When visiting Mudka’s Meat Hut restaurant, Patka and Kuzco end up noticing a sign saying that llamas are prohibited at the place. That way, to convert the problem, they decide to put women’s clothes on the emperor transformed into an animal, and pretend that the two are on their honeymoon. During her entire stay there, no one realizes that the girl is actually a llama. As?
4. Yzma not being arrested
Throughout the film, Yzma spares no effort to get rid of Kuzco and take her place on the throne. However, even with her numerous attempts to kill the emperor, nothing happens to her in the end. Why?
