Minhyuk will be the second member of MONSTA X to enlist in the South Korean military
This Monday, the 13th, minhyukmember of MONSTA X, confirmed to fans via a handwritten letter that he will begin his mandatory service in the South Korean military on April 4. The statement was shared via the group’s official fancafe.

I’m sorry because I think our fans will see the title of the post, ‘This is Minhyuk’, and they will be sad when they click. I won’t be able to see everyone very often at the moment as I have to leave for my country duties on April 4th. I should be doing things that Monbebes like often, like writing fancafe posts, promos, posting pics and telling you guys when I’m done working out, doing Bubble livestreams, and so on. It really hurts my heart to know that I won’t be able to do all this for you for now.

With the ad, minhyuk becomes the second member of MONSTA X to enlist in the military. The first to begin mandatory service was the leader Shownuwho performed on July 22, 2021, and is scheduled to be discharged on April 21 of this year, shortly after the enlistment of the groupmate.
MONSTA X debuted in 2015 under Starship Entertainment, and currently consists of six members: Shownu, minhyuk, kihyun, hyungwon, johoney It is IM.
