What are all the Oscar winners for ‘Best Animation’?

Countdown to the 95th Oscar ceremony activated! The event, which takes place in Los Angeles, California, will take place tonight, the 12th, at 9 pm (Brasília time), where those who want to check if their favorite movies will receive one or more golden statuettes can turn on the TV at TNT closed channel, or follow wherever you want through the HBO Max streaming service.

In all, there will be 23 winners, who are competing in the same number of categories, where the main ones of the event are: Best film, Best direction, Best actress, Best actor, Best supporting actress, Best supporting actor, Best original script, Best script Adapted, and Best Animation.

It is worth remembering that the category of ‘Best Animation’ is recent in the history of the award, being created in 2002, where only three animated productions competed for the trophy: ‘Shrek’, ‘Jimmy Neutron’ and ‘Monstros SA’, where the film starring ogre who has a donkey for a best friend has emerged victorious.

This year, the category has as nominated titles the films: ‘Pinocchio de Guillermo Del Toro‘, ‘Marcel the Shell with Shoes On’ (Dean Fleischer Camp), ‘Puss in Boots 2: Last Order‘ (Joel Crawford), ‘The Beast of the Sea’ (Chris Williams), and ‘Red – Growing is a Beast’ (Domee Shi).
