Should you think long and hard about decisions big and small in life or follow your instincts?

In love, professionally, for small everyday choices or big life decisions… Is it better to make long judgments or follow your own little voice?

“You think too much.” we often envy this friend who, as a child, feeds on what some call a “little inner voice” or, therefore, instinct, to make big decisions without hesitation. However, when thinking about instinct, we often imagine the emergence of primal reflexes as opposed to the form of emotional detachment that enforces enlightened decision-making. This is because, in the definition we give of it, this fascination is usually associated with a primitive or animal reaction; in any case, to something which precedes the will, and which must be tamed in order to establish one’s own will, even freedom.

It is also not entirely wrong to think that instinct hides many flaws. To believe in it too much would be to succumb to it completely. Be it pleasure, fear or even hunger… Always listening to our own emotions and reacting to them will keep us in a form of sufficient comfort, but at the same time…
