Disney classic, ‘Lilo and Stitch’ has details that don’t make sense; find out which ones!
Coming to theaters in 2002, the animation ‘Lilo and Stitch’ soon became one of Disney’s classics, being loved until today for addressing a family plot full of ups and downs, while also including many adventures and confusions, as a cute runaway alien named Stitch who is being wanted on Earth, has been adopted by Lilo and her older sister Nani.
The story that came to life on the big screen at the command of the filmmakers Dean DeBlois It is Chris Sanders it has been around for over 20 years, but even so, there are some details present in the 1h25m duration of the film that can cause some strangeness, since they can deviate from logic a little.
With that in mind, we’ve gathered below, 5 things that don’t make sense about ‘Lilo and Stitch‘. Check out!
1. Stitch’s presence in the kennel
When Nani and Lilo go to the kennel and see Stitch, the receptionist at the place does not hide her surprise to see him there, since she claims that everyone thought he had died. With that, the question remains: Why was he kept with the dogs if they thought Stitch was lifeless?
2. The persistence of Bubbles
As a social worker, it’s normal for Bubbles to be concerned about Lilo’s well-being, even more so after a great loss and living in a somewhat unstable home. Even so, there is no justification for him to follow Nani and Lilo around the city as he did right after he agreed that he would return to the sisters’ house in three days to check the situation.
3. The relationship between Bubbles and the Grand Counselor
The Grand Councilor demonstrates that she does not know Earth when she is told that Stitch was sent there, but still, she recognizes Bubbles at the end of the film, and reveals that they were introduced in 1973, when the social worker was a CIA agent.
But at no time is it explained how this relationship arises, has Bubbles already left Earth? Or, did she just forget that she visited the planet years ago? Questions have no answers.
4. The stay of the other aliens on Earth
Unlike Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley could return to their home planets, but they didn’t, starting to live in an unknown location, leaving their friends, work and family behind, even though there are no reasons for them to do so.
5. The adoption of Stitch
Nani was close to losing custody of Lilo, but still, it didn’t stop her little sister from adopting a new pet, even though she only had a few days to organize her new life before Bubbles’ visit.
The young woman’s decision makes no sense, as a new pet requires work, and she was barely able to take care of household chores, take care of her younger sister and maintain her job.
