For his third feature film, Jonathan Barre signs a black and absurd comedy. Lor Calami responds to David Marches and Grégoire Ludig, the Palmashow comedy duo.
Pauline Kloarek (Laur Kalami), a woman who has contributed greatly to road safety, leads a double life. During the day, he is a trainer at the Points Recovery Center. In the evening, he becomes a serial killer, killing the speeders he finds in his car. Two investigators (David Marches and Grégoire Ludig) are responsible for solving this case, but their investigative methods are ineffective, to say the least.
after The crazy story of Max and Leon (2016), then Stars (2022), Jonathan Barre signs a third, more personal feature film (this time written without his two Palmashaw accomplices, Ludwig and Marsa, to whom he nevertheless reserves two roles).
The plot might sound like a thriller, but it’s really a comedy, dark and sometimes bloody, but above all, completely crazy. Good behavior unleashes the full comedic potential of its lead actress Lor Calamy, and its screenplay boasts the improbable. The first images from this trailer also reveal an electronic soundtrack composed by Charles Ludig, creator of Palmashow songs.
Also in the cast: Cheki Carrillo, David Caruso, Ragnar le Breton, Thomas WDB, Sistine Aupetit, Julien Pestel and Olivier Marshall. Theatrical release is scheduled for March 29, 2023.
