Two-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce almost didn’t laugh at his brother Jason Kelce as he looked back on his latest victory during his “SNL” monologue.
The moment was not lost on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who hosted “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, and took a moment to joke that his role as master of ceremonies on the sketch show doesn’t surpassed that of the Chiefs. near victory last month.
He later turned to his family and raised his brother, Jason, who played against him for the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.
“People keep asking me what it was like to beat my brother in the Super Bowl, and it was pretty weird,” Travis Kelce said.
“Even though his team lost after leading by 10 points at the half, my brother is very happy for me and agrees that the referee made the right call, it was made,” he continued. Kelce, as the camera showed her brother with an angry look on his face.
His brother joined the crowd cheering once Kelce teased his “Bachelor” show — “Catching Kelce” — ended after one season.
“That show is owned by NBCUniversal, so it’s supposed to be on Peacock, but Peacock said, ‘nah, okay,'” Kelce said before her brother laughed loudly from the crowd.
