After 25 years being the protagonists of the plot ‘pokemon‘, Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu are leaving this anime that has been a success for many generations. However, with the departure announced, the character will be replaced by a new Pikachu.
As found by the website Omelete, in an official twitter account of the franchise in the United Kingdom, the new character, Captain Pikachu, will accompany Friede, also new to the plot, on his travels.

In addition, in the post, Friede appears with aviation glasses, which suggests that the new duo of anime members will fly an aircraft where the story will take place, in the region of Paldea.
Also, both Friede and Captain Pikachu will travel alongside Liko and Roy, two new protagonists in the anime, who, like Ash at the beginning of production, also want to become Pokémon masters.
The special episodes that portray the farewell of the characters Ash and Pikachu have been broadcast since January.
