With the creation of its Echo Culture Awards, the jewelry house intends to promote cultural projects initiated by women and create connections of transmission and inspiration.
Chaumet has long supported many cultural institutions, such as the Manufacture de Sèvres, Fontainebleau or the Louvre, and organizes exhibitions, including “Végétal” recently at the Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 2023, the century-old jewelry house goes further, envisioning a commitment program in favor of women and culture.
It is possible to apply until March 10, whether it is a cultural project under development or already existing in the field of plastic arts, design, literature, craft, heritage conservation, education, performing arts or visual arts.*
Deeply rooted in Chaumet’s values, the Echo Culture Awards are dedicated to supporting women who are committed to promoting beauty in the French industry.
Three cultural projects were highlighted
Through this initiative, the house wants to support the “passées” of culture, but also to promote projects in France that connect and diversify the public and have the ambition to spread creativity. Above all, he wants to inspire other ambitious ideas in this way. Three projects conceived and implemented by women who act every day to move the lines will thus be highlighted by the Echo Culture Awards. Long-term goal. For this exclusive project, Chaumet has joined forces with the association Thanks for Nothing, a group of women in the cultural world that mobilizes artists to organize artistic and solidarity projects with a concrete impact on society.
As an endowment, the Echo Culture Awards will offer winners financial support of €50,000, €25,000 and €10,000 depending on the size of the project. Chaumet also promises to facilitate the latter through its own communication, as well as the support of Chaumet employees.
The jury, chaired by actress Sandrine Kiberlain, will hand out its awards on April 18. An opportunity to create encounters, spark curiosity and audacity.
