All Pizza Planet car appearances in Pixar movies

Since the journalist Jon Negroni developed the theory pixarstudio fans are looking for facts and references that can help connect all the films released in a single timeline in order to prove that the company’s animated feature films are all connected, and that despite being different, they are part of the same universe.

Among the easter-eggs that help to formulate the theory, is the Pizza Planet car, which Pixar includes in all of its feature films released since the first long-term story developed by the studio: ‘Toy Story’, a plot released in 1995 where the yellow vehicle appears in a scene that features the famous pizzeria.

With that in mind, we have gathered below all the appearances of the Pizza Planet car in the Pixar films following the release order of each of the productions. Check out!

1. Toy Story

The car’s first appearance occurs at a gas station after Woody and Buzz fall out of the vehicle they were in with Andy while having a fight. The two dolls end up climbing into the yellow truck, as it is the only way they can try to return to their owner.

2. A Bug’s Life

In 1998, the vehicle returns for the first time in a small appearance in ‘A Bug’s Life’. The car appears next to a trailer.

3. Toy Story 2

In the first sequence of the story, starring the dolls of Andy, Buzz Lightyear, Rex and other characters, they appear driving a yellow car that is soon revealed to be from Pizza Planet.

4. SA Monsters

Leaving for the years 2001, in ‘Monstros Inc.’ the car appears again next to a trailer, where Randall enters and ends up experiencing a real beating scene. Was the scene’s similarity to ‘A Bug’s Life’ a mere coincidence?

5. Finding Nemo

In the clown fish movie, the vehicle appears quickly when he and his friends are inside plastic bags trying to cross the street.

6. The Incredibles

In ‘The Incredibles’ the appearance of Pizza Planet’s car is not so clear, and some fans claim that it never happened. This is because those who believe that the vehicle is present claim that it appears parked on the street during the last confrontation and can be seen in an appearance by the Arrow.

7. Cars

Supporting the universe to which it fits perfectly, the yellow vehicle appears in ‘Cars’ as one of the viewers of the Piston Cup.

8. Ratatouille

This one is hard to notice! In ‘Ratatouille’ the car appears on a bridge just as Pixar’s most beloved mouse steals Chef Gusteau’s letter.

9. Wall-E

The car returns with a major appearance in ‘Wall-E’, a 2008 film. The character appears on his worst days, as he is found amidst the rubbish.

10. Up – High Adventures

A year later, in ‘Up – Altas Aventuras’, the Pizza Planet pickup appears parked on the street while Mr. Frederiksen’s house floats through the air.

11. Toy Story 3

Responsible for introducing one of the great villains of the studio, ‘Toy Story 3’ brings the presence of the yellow car during a flashback that tells the sad origin story of Lotso, the pink bear who deceived everyone with his cute appearance.

12. Cars 2

Again supporting those who also need gasoline to get around, the Pizza Planet car appears in the second film starring Lightning McQueen in the scene where Mater appears running with his rockets.

13. Brave

When Merida visits the witch’s house in the middle of the forest, the white-haired witch appears carving a wooden sculpture in the shape of a car. The curious thing is that the vehicle is identical to the one used by Pizza Planet.

14. Monsters University

It may even be discreet, but its yellow appearance does not deny that it was there! The car is parked next to a tree during a party for one of the University’s fraternities.

15. Fun

In the plot that presents Riley’s emotions as characters, the car appears disguised in the middle of one of the memory balls of the young human girl from ‘Fun’.

16. The Good Dinosaur

Already prepare the zoom because this is difficult! In ‘The Good Dinosaur’ the car appears in black and white almost imperceptibly, since it is in the middle of several asteroids.

17. Finding Dory

At the bottom of the sea? In ‘Finding Dory’ the vehicle can be seen in a scene where the title character of the film appears swimming in the middle of the dark ocean.

18. Cars 3

In the third adventure starring talking cars, Pizza Planet’s pickup puts its wheels in action and appears in one of the film’s most mind-blowing scenes when a car runs over it on the track. Check out!

19. Viva- Life is a Party

In ‘Viva- A Vida é uma Festa’ the car appears in the village where Miguel lives with his family.

20. The Incredibles 2

The story that presents the new adventures of the Pêra family has the presence of the yellow car in one of its scenes, where it appears parked next to a dumpster.

21. Toy Story 4

The fourth plot of ‘Toy Story’ presents the vehicle in a way never seen before: it appears as a tattoo.

22. Two Brothers

In ‘Dois Irmãos’, the car appears in the scene where the protagonists end up having to go through a chaotic toll booth. The vehicle appears waiting for its turn on the right of the screen.

23. Soul

In the 2020 plot, the car appears while 22 introduces Joe’s soul to the place. The two arrive at the Room of All Things, where it is possible to see the yellow pickup parked next to an aircraft.

24. Lucas

In ‘Luca’, the Pizza Planet car appears in one of the Italian alleys while Ercole Visconti chases Lucca and Alberto.
