So far, KCON 2023 already has confirmed editions in Thailand, Los Angeles and Tokyo
A KCON 2023 already won new dates! This Tuesday, the 21st, the dates and venues for the presentations of the biggest Hallyu event in the United States and Japan were revealed: the 12th to the 14th in Tokyo, and the 18th to the 20th in Los Angeles.
It is worth remembering that the first edition of KCON of 2023 will take place in Thailand, on March 18 and 19, where the event returns after four years. Artists confirmed for the show are: ATEEZ, 8TURN, ITZY, KQ Fellaz 2, TEMPEST, Mbitious, Kep1er, P1Harmony, TNX, iKON, INI, (G)I-DLE, and GOT7’s Bambam and Youngjae.
In addition to in-person performances, fans around the world will also have the opportunity to follow the performances of their favorite artists through an online broadcast. So far, KCON has yet to release the official lineups for the Los Angeles and Tokyo editions.
According to Kim Hyun Soo, Head of Live Business Department of CJ ENM Convention, “KCON, which started with 10,000 audience members in 2012 and has now established itself as the largest Korean culture festival in the world, will start this year in Thailand. and visit global Gen Z in Japan and the United States. As an ever-evolving platform, we will put our strength into actively and positively introducing K-pop and Korean culture.”
KCON had its first edition in 2012, in Los Angeles. Held annually, the convention aims to facilitate the connection between fans, as well as the approach of artists and professionals in the K-pop industry.
