Carnival is already there! The biggest popular party in Brazil, recognized all over the world, started last Saturday, the 18th, and promises to entertain millions of people around the country.

The animated comedy tells the story of Blu, a macaw who doesn’t know how to fly and acts more like a human than a bird. His world is turned upside down when he discovers he must travel to Rio to save his species.

The Simpsons also celebrated Carnival. In the episode, they go to Brazil to look for a missing orphan that Lisa sponsors. Despite a slightly distorted representation of Brazilian reality, the family ends up knowing more about the characteristics of Rio de Janeiro, including the famous Carnival.

The film that marked the debut of Zé Carioca presents Pedro, Donald Duck and Goofy in spectacular adventures in South America. Donald is an American tourist who embarks on an incredible journey through the Andes. Pedro is a small plane that flies through Chile and faces a terrible storm.

In Buenos Aires, Goofy learns to ride horses and also learn typical Argentine dances. In addition, Donald Duck also discovers the sights of Rio de Janeiro and learns to dance the samba, in colorful scenes featuring Carnival and Brazilian songs such as “Aquarela do Brasil”.
