Bono’s arrival in Ukraine was unexpected. Along with the Ukrainian military, he got off at one of Kyiv’s metro stations and sang Stand by Ukraine.

Irish singer-songwriter Bono, the frontman of legendary rock band U2, arrived in Kyiv and sings at Khreshchatyk metro station today, Unian reported on May 8.

Bono’s arrival in Ukraine was unexpected. Along with the Ukrainian military, he got off at one of Kyiv’s metro stations and sang Stand by Ukraine.

In the past, Bono has already supported Ukrainians in the war unleashed by the Russian Federation and even dedicated a verse to Ukraine. He began to express his support for Ukraine even before the whole invasion.

He then wrote that Ukraine is now fighting evil so that the whole world is free. He also called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “psycho”. Bono believes Putin is bad.

And Paul McCartney raised the flag of Ukraine at the concert.
