The cultural program of the second week of February 2023 is overloaded. Partly because of Valentine’s Day, which has prompted many companies and organizations to schedule events dedicated to love and friendship on February 14th.
In this sense, there are presentations that anticipate the meeting of lovers, for example, the Love and Motives concert, which will offer Lucia de la Cruz next 11 February at Japanese Peruvian theater. In a press release, the Creole singer also revealed that her new album will be released in March.

Tribute to U2 and solo performance by Joanna San Miguel

Children’s Film Festival
British Cultural, for its part, has prepared the perfect program for the little ones in the house. The ninth International Children’s Film Festival (CINI) will take place from 15 to 18 February.
More than 20 audiovisual works, including short, medium and feature films, will be presented at the Miraflores Culture Station and in the various halls of the institution. Participants from Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Colombia, Malta, Poland, France, Kenya and Peru will meet there.
This ninth edition will explore stories starring children and teenagers who will go through a thousand adventures and with whom the public will be able to connect and learn from them. These productions will have important themes related to bullying, dreams, love, childhood curiosity, family and others.
In addition, a special event will take place on Thursday, February 16 at 7:00 pm: the webinar “Making Family Films in Peru: Challenges and Challenges”, moderated by Claudio Cordero, Artistic Director of CINI, who will speak with Fernando Villarán, director of the Peruvian film “ Papa Youtuber. This conversation will be broadcast via Zoom, by prior registration.
This edition of CINI will offer three specialized workshops to develop children’s creativity and love for the seventh art. Children aged 10 to 14, which cost SGD 60, can visit the British Cultural (Bellavista 531, Miraflores) on February 16, 17 and 18 to learn the basic tools to put their artistic skills into practice.

Valentine’s Day: Celebrate Love with a Clown Workshop
Production company Colores Clown will develop on Sunday, February 12, a space called “Celebrate Love – Clown Workshop for Couples”. A full day which aims to develop new effective communication skills, recreating the passion, attraction and intimacy that united the current lovers.
This seminar lasts for a day divided as follows: two hours in the morning, from 11:00 to 13:00, and in the afternoon, from 15:00 to 17:00.
