Greg Lopez contains what the modern Republican Party stands for.
The Colorado gubernatorial candidate wants to ban mail -in voting despite him Voted by mail In all elections since 2013, when Colorado began voting by mail. He wasn’t bothered by using anti-LGBTQ dog whistles to gain political points, but Reject being homophobic.
And he defined himself as a “supporter of life without exception”, but I do not understand The manner in which he was arrested in 1993 for assaulting a pregnant wife undermines the sincerity of this message.
We all know this thanks to the captivating interview he attended at 9News Denver’s Kyle Clark That passed on Tuesday night.
This is the last clip you want to watch:
New: GOP candidate for governor @LopezforCO She said she would sign an abortion ban in Colorado. I asked him, without exception, to express his position on propaganda by arresting a pregnant woman in 1993 for assault. #Copolitics pic.twitter.com/Fk2y1Vezjg

Here is the record:
Clark: “You are an advocate for life, without rape and incest and without exception to the life or health of the mother. Also, in 1993 you were arrested for hurting your then pregnant wife. Some people may see these two objections, but both have to do with controlling the woman’s body. Is this what the people of Colorado want from their governor?
Lopez: “First of all, this is not a violent situation. If you come back and look … “
Clark: “You were arrested for assault.”
Lopez: “We were both Arrested for assault. Same, okay? “
Clark: “… and one of you is pregnant. So again the question arises: Do Coloradoans want someone with a history of controlling a woman’s body in both word and deed?
Lopez responded by pointing out that he was not Jesus, “the perfect man who ever lived on earth.”
Lopez, Protected Frontline Billing Republican Party candidate Heidi Ganahl will face the party in the Republican nomination in the Republican State Assembly last month on the June 28 primary.
