Find out who are the characters present in the movie ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’
He is coming! Marvel’s newest film, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, opens on February 16 in theaters across Brazil. The feature film is responsible for officially starting Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and features the return of former MCU heroes, in addition to also focusing on introducing new characters. Scott LangPaul Rudd
Being the third film starring Scott Lang/Ant-Man, in the new production, the hero is recognized for his efforts in the last missions, but ends up returning to the quantum world after an unsuccessful experience. To return to his normal life, he ends up trusting a villain who can take away everything he loves most.
Paul Rudd, an actor known worldwide for his solo films in the MCU, is responsible for bringing Scott Lang to life. The actor is also the protagonist of classic films such as “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” (2005) and “The Patricians of Beverly Hills” (1995), in addition to being confirmed for the new season of “Only Murders in the Building”, an exclusive series from Star+.
Hope Van DyneEvangeline Lilly
In “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, the Wasp is once again played by Evangeline Lilly. The character, who is a great partner of Scott Lang, was one more that helped to defeat Thanos, one of the main villains of the MCU. Now, Hope Van Dyne is another one who ends up accidentally being sent to the quantum world and together with her family tries to find ways to get out of there.

Evangeline Lilly is recognized worldwide for the character Kate Austen, from the acclaimed television series “Lost” (2004 – 2010). The actress has also participated in productions such as “Giants of Steel” (2011), “War on Terror” (2008), the “Hobbit” saga (2012) and other Marvel Studios productions such as “Ant-Man” (2015), “Ant-Man and the Wasp” (2018) and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019).
Hank Pym (Michael Douglas)
Hank Pym is the physicist who developed the Ant-Man suit following the discovery of Pym particles — subatomic particles of an extra dimensional nature that are capable of adding or subtracting mass from any form of matter. The Doctor was also the first Ant-Man, but — after losing his wife of many years and retiring from heroics — he teams up with his daughter Hope and perfects the suit in an effort to find a new hero (Scott Lang) to wear it. Seeming to have a stabilized life, Hank is also sent to the quantum world and this time he doesn’t want to lose his family again.

Michael Douglas, the actor who plays Hank, is internationally recognized for winning the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in the film “Wall Street” (1987). Douglas also participated in productions such as “Basic Instinct” (1992) and “A Day of Fury” (1993).
Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer)
Janet Van Dyne is Hope’s mother and Doctor Hank’s wife. After spending 30 years trapped in the quantum world, she learns a lot of unimaginable things from this other reality and – after being trapped with the other members of her family – she becomes a key player in getting them out of there.

Michelle Pfeiffer is the actress responsible for playing Janet in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”. Known as one of the leading actresses of the last century, she participated in other very successful productions such as “Grease 2 — The Times of Brilhantina Returned” (1982), “Scarface” (1983) and “Dangerous Minds” (1985).
Kang (Jonathan Majors)
Nathaniel Richards is a 31st century scientist who discovered the existence of the Multiverse and its alternate selves. Seeking to conquer as many worlds as possible, he started the Multiversal War, becoming known as Kang the Conqueror. After an unsuccessful conquest of space, he was isolated in an alternate timeline. However, when Sylvie Laufeydottir in the series “Loki” (2021) kills one of his variants, Kang returns and becomes the new mortal ruler.

In “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, Marvel Studios’ new big bad is played by Jonathan Majors. In addition to participating in “Loki”, he is also the protagonist of the series “Lovecraft Country”.
Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton)
Cassie Lang is the daughter of Scott Lang and will have a very prominent role in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”. The audience got to know her in the first films of the hero, but she was still a child. Now, she’s a smart teenager who’s developed a new quantum machine – which accidentally takes her, her father, Hope, Hank and Janet to another universe.

Kathryn Newton is who plays Cassie Lang. The 25-year-old actress has starred in other productions such as “Paranormal Activity 4” (2012) and the series “The Society”.
