‘The Last of Us’ is the newest series adapted from the game franchise developed by Naughty Dog. Featuring Joel and Ellie as protagonists, the plot that will accompany the duo trying to leave the quarantine area in search of a cure 20 years after the mutation of the Cordyceps fungus that infected and almost devastated the earth, turning people into zombies, arrives at the catalog of HBO Max this Sunday, the 15th. Joel (Pedro Pascal)
interpreted by Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Joel is one of the few survivors who witnessed the beginning of the outbreak due to the mutation of the Cordyceps fungus. Cold, calculating and with a huge baggage of losses, he became skilled in the post-apocalyptic world acting as a smuggler alongside his partner Tess.
Ellie (Bella Ramsey)
lived by Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones), Ellie is a 14-year-old orphaned teenager who survived the bite of one of those infected by the fungus. As the only person to have achieved the feat, the girl is escorted out of the quarantine area by Joel and Tess under a deal with the leader of the Fireflies, Marlene, so that the scientists of the militia group can study her in search of a cure.
Tess (Anna Torv)
Accepting a mission to escort Ellie to the Boston capitol, Tess (Anna Torv) is Joel’s partner. The smuggler who also lost everyone she loves, she agreed to participate in the action only because she could recover her goods that had been stolen.
Tommy (Gabriel Luna)
character of Gabriel Luna, Tommy is Joel’s brother. In addition to also contributing to the mission to get Ellie out of the quarantine area, he was one of those responsible for building the safe base in which humans inhabit.
Sara (Nico Parker)

Riley (Storm Reid)
Riley, the character of Storm Reid, is Ellie’s best friend. Riley is also one of the members of the Vaga-Lumes group.
Henry (Lamar Johnson)
Responsible for covering the act of escaping from the sewer alongside Joel, Ellie and Sam, Henry is the character of Lamar Johnson.
Sam (Keivon Woodard)
Henry’s younger brother, Sam is played in the series by Keivonn Woodard. The boy is Ellie’s best friend and also one of the helpers in the escape from the quarantine zone.
Bill (Nick Offerman)
Introduced as Joel and Tess’s business partner, Bill is played by Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) on the HBO Max series.
Frank (Murray Bartlett)
Frank, character played by Murray Barlett is Bill’s partner survivor, who in the series, had the romance with the survivor explored in depth in the third episode.
