Are Disney movies connected by the same fairy godmother? Understand the theory!

See how ‘Pinocchio’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘The Princess and the Frog’ can feature the same Disney character

With magical powers and willing to fulfill the desires of the being under her protection, the fairy godmother is one of the recurring characters in children’s stories, as well as being one of the main figures in several animated narratives produced by Disney, such as ‘ Pinocchio’ (1940) and ‘Cinderella’ (1950).

Although in both productions these holders of supernatural powers appear in their physical appearance, some fans of Mickey’s House gathered evidence that the fairy godmothers of the two films are not only the same person, but are also present in an inhuman way in ‘Peter Pan’ ‘ (1953) and ‘The Princess and the Frog’ (2009).

THE THEORY

The idea, which won arguments from several lovers of productions disneyhas Youtuber as one of its contributors imaginarywhich expanded it and brought new information to prove that the fairy godmother is responsible for uniting the universes of the four films.

The first point defended by the theory is the similarities between the characters seen in their human form in the stories of Geppetto’s son and the owner of the glass slipper, ranging from their names, since both are only called fairy godmother, to the blue dress they use and the use of the magic wand.

The aspects in common do not end there, since both also have the same powers, since they can transform mice into horses, or else, dolls into real boys. As well as, so that they can accomplish all this, they impose rules, since the transformation only lasts until midnight and it only becomes a real child if it is a good boy.

Even if they are the same person, how does the character connect with the plots of ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘The Princess and the Frog’? To understand, just remember the events of ‘Pinocchio’, since in the film, Gepetto appears making a wish to a star in the sky, until that star turns into the beautiful magical being capable of fulfilling his wishes.

Thus, in addition to transforming beings and objects, the fairy can also acquire other forms, since like a star, she can always keep an eye on her protégés and acquire her human form to help them only when necessary, similar to what happens to Cinderella.

Therefore, imaginary shows in a video on her YouTube channel that the fairy godmother also appears as a star in both the 2009 and the 1953 films, but in different contexts, since, in the plot that has Tiana as the protagonist, the character is presented as as Evangeline, the star Ray falls in love with.

The connection with the work that presents the boy who never grows old occurs when the adorable firefly dies and becomes a star in the sky next to Evangeline. That’s because, the position in which both appear is identical to the stars seen in ‘Peter Pan’ to symbolize Neverland, which may mean that the two created the place after starting to live side by side in the giant blue sky.
