Musicians from the Czech Republic performed an anti-war song

The Czech band Vesna presented a video for the song My sister’s crown for the international Eurovision Song Contest 2023. In the composition, the artists criticized the war in Ukraine. The video was posted on YouTube.

The text includes lines in English, Czech and Ukrainian. At the same time, the song never mentioned Ukraine or Russia, but the musicians sang that “their sister will not allow herself to be mocked, will not listen to orders and will not hide in a corner in front of fear.”

“You can take your hands off

Recall that the Russian group Nogu!, which condemned the war in Ukraine, brought down the song Happy New Year, son! and a clip for it.
