Wanda Sykes is not a fan of Rep. George Santos (RN.Y.), but she can certainly support Kitara Ravache.
The “Daily Show” guest host joined the comedy of the serially dishonest lawmaker on Tuesday, highlighting one of the latest revelations in the mountain of fabrications that have come to light since his November election.
“It’s been a bad week for George Santos,” Sykes said. “Or, as he says, have a good week.”
A dear Brazilian performer he recently told reporters that Santos was performing in Brazil as a drag queen under the stage name Kitara Ravache. Several images and videos emerged that appeared to show Santos in the shooting.
Asked by reporters at a New York airport over the weekend, Santos insisted she had never been a drag queen, but appeared to confirm she had dressed as one.
“I was young and having fun at a festival. Sue me because I only have one life,” he said.
“Are you suing me because I have a life? No man, we should sue you for lying,” she said. “You know, but the drag part is pretty cool. I like the guitar. Guitar, wait. George Santos? Sashay away.
