Chrissy Teigen seems to be embracing the sticky side of motherhood.
On Monday, the model posted the first photo of herself on Instagram since the birth of her third child, Esti Maxine. on January 13th, and it’s pretty obvious that no filters or tweaks were involved.
The photo shows Teigen with her face hidden by a large hat and wearing a long black dress with stains on her skirt and breasts, presumably from breast milk or other leakage.
In her caption, Teigen refers to having to “stitch up” a labor wound, which involved a C-section..
“Omw to bandage both my wound and 3.8 second clips of Beyonce performing in Dubai until I have a full HBO special,” she wrote.
Teigen’s fans praised her for her honest portrayal of life after giving birth.
“Nothing says postpartum authenticity like milk spots!” a fan commented on Teigen’s post.
“I love that you’re normalizing leaking through everything in the first few weeks after birth,” another fan commented. “You wake up in the night and you’re like, ‘Is it pee? is it milk or sweat? So many body fluid options.
“The wet scene.. it’s still wet ❤️” joked another fan.
The “Chrissy’s Court” star followed up her post with an Instagram story featuring another stain.
“Awesome,” Teigen jokingly captioned the photo.

The cookbook author was candid about the messier aspects of postpartum life.
Last week, she posted the first photo of her newbornwhich featured her two other children with husband John Legend: Luna, 6, and Miles, 4.
“The house is full of life and our family couldn’t be happier,” Teigen wrote in the caption of Esti’s Instagram debut. “Daddy cries tears of joy at night seeing Luna and Miles so full of love and I learn you still need c-section diapers!? “
