Kim Kardashian gives a speech at Harvard Business School

Kim Kardashian visited Harvard Business School as a guest lecturer on Friday to talk about SKIMS, her billion-dollar modeling company, according to NBC10 Boston. The reality star was accompanied by a film crew and spent an hour and 45 minutes on campus.

“I think a lot of people don’t respect her as someone who runs a billion-dollar company together,” a student named Liz, who attended the seminar, told the media.

“Just learning from someone who has built such a successful business was really exciting, and I think not having the privacy of the cameras in the room, being able to have that honest conversation was also special,” continued Liz .

Kardashian, who launched Boston-based private equity firm Skyy Partners last year and has become a staunch advocate for prison reform, chronicled her journey in true Kardashian fashion and posted a video on Instagram of her 6 a.m. workout , before visiting Boston Common.

After sharing a photo of the new Martin Luther King Jr. memorial, “The Embrace,” Kardashian headed to Harvard. He posted a video of the snowy campus before the start of his class, “Moving Beyond: Direct to Consumer,” according to the Boston Globe.

“The interesting part is sitting with these founders and figuring out what their dream is,” Kardashian told Skyy’s Wall Street Journal in September. “I want to support what is, not change who they are in their DNA, just support them and take them to another level.”

However, not everyone was as excited as Kardashian. While faculty support specialist Maddie Yardley she gleefully captioned a video of Kardashian’s arrival on Twittersome thought the reality TV star didn’t belong at Harvard and expressed those feelings on social media.

“Kim Kardashian was born rich” one person tweeted.

“I tried to use a sex tape to launch an acting or singing career; none have been released,” they continued. “Kim K was rich enough to script a reality show because she and her family are shameless. Harvard is as ugly as the Kardashians now.

However, Kardashian has something to offer Harvard students, as Forbes valued SKIMS at $3.2 billion last year. His influence, meanwhile, led to meetings with former President Donald Trump and clemency for exorbitant inmates like Alice Johnson.

Finally, Keeping Up With the Kardashians is a grueling activity that has now brought followers to Harvard.
