RBD fans can now prepare their uniforms, as, apparently, the members of the iconic Mexican group are ready to make their comeback after years of hiatus. This Monday, the 19th, the official account of the band and its members anahi🇧🇷 Dulce Maria🇧🇷 Christopher Uckermann🇧🇷 Maite Perroni and Christian Chavez posted on their social networks a video with moments from the soap opera ‘Rebelde’ where, at the end, a link is revealed that gives us access to a countdown. The end of the countdown will take place on January 19, 2023, and many fans speculate that the date could mark the announcement of the long-awaited reunion tour of the Mexican group. Despite high expectations, it has yet to be confirmed whether the countdown actually means the possible tour announcement, or some other surprise.
Unfortunately we have no signs of the return of Alfonso Herrera, our dear Miguel, on this tour, since the actor was not part of the movement to archive his photos on social networks. Furthermore, this would not be the first time that Poncho does not participate in events involving the band.
The star was also left out of the special “Siempre He Estado Aqui”, released in 2020. However, alfonso already declared that, regardless of what happens, he will always be supporting his friends.
”They support me. They will always support me. They have always supported me unconditionally in all my projects and, likewise, I will always be here supporting them.”, said Herrera in an interview for the Mexican television channel Imagen Televisión.
Rumors about the return of RBD intensified after the band members removed their profile pictures, and only made available the link to the website ‘Soy Rebelde World’.
Being one of the most successful groups of the 2000s, RBD was created through the series developed by Cris Morena, entitled ‘Rebel’. Launched in 2004, the soap opera follows the lives of students at Elite Way School and their family conflicts, first loves, in addition to their passion for music.
