George Will Says Josh Hawley Why Senators Should Be Banned From Running as President –

Former and current U.S. senators should be barred from participating in presidential elections, conservative commentator George Will said in his latest column. The Washington Post.

In this way, the veteran expert suggests that the Senate will be accessible to people who really want the job and not by prominent politicians who see it as a platform to boost their White House racial profiles.

Will cited Senator Josh Heale (R-Mo.), A potential candidate for the presidency in 2024 and an apologist for Donald Trump.

Willie wrote that Hugh was “setting the worst example for the next presidents to be incubated in the Senate.

“In January 2019 he fell to the ground, away from the Senate,” the commentator continued. “Twenty-four months later, he is the main catalyst in the attempt to nullify the presidential election, which preceded the elections, which he hopes will elevate him.”

“With any passing band that could easily get him into the Fox News greenhouse, he sees the Senate as a simple step toward his office of ascendancy that fits his talent assessment,” Will concludes.
